Ah, the rare and illusive North American dragonfly. Well, not really, but these little guys are quite the challenge to photograph, as they sometimes don't like to stay still.

Backroad Buzzard

Sometimes our road trips take us off the beaten path, because that's where you see the good stuff. This day was no exception. Somewhere on the backroads of Pennsylvania I saw a bunch of buzzards next to the road, and one in particular was sitting on a fence post. Well you can't pass up an opportunity like that!

Tree Frog

Sometimes you don't have to go very far for a great photograph. This little tree frog was sitting right outside my house, in the one spot where the sun was shining through the trees and landing on the ground.
